Welcome to Stoop Talkin!

My name is Thresa Ramsey; most people call me T.

I’m a Southern-based blogger. It is so nice of you to stop by the stoop.
I hope you enjoy your visit.

I’m just a gal who likes to put letters together that make words to form sentences that end up as stories. I have been putting pen to paper and “writing” for years, mostly personal journaling, but this is my first blog.

I have had this blog idea tucked away in my mind for years. This is my little creative corner or outlet to express various thoughts and such. Let me introduce myself; it sounds a little offbeat to me, but if I am going to let you into my life and share it with you, perhaps you want to know a smidge about me.

Excluding the big guy upstairs, no one knows me better than ME! And that is still up for debate sometimes; I know that I have not gotten to the bottom of myself yet, and I’m not sure if I ever will.

I am seasoned, as I define it. I have a five as the beginning number of my age. I am from the South! I love to wear white T-shirts. I am a Mama and I am a YaYa. I have an obsession with peanut butter that cannot be put into words. I like sports A LOT! I am imperfect! I love God. His grace is never-ending. Hang out and get to know me more along the way.

I will be writing posts about a variety of things that I am thinking of, have gone through, and have yet to experience in this thing called MY life. I am excited to share a few things and let you in on part of the stories of my life, and perhaps gain some knowledge along the way and have a good laugh or cry. I would like to know what is happening in your world because what you know can help me grow as a human too. Also, I would like to know how you feel; are you happy, sad, mad, or simply content?

I believe every person has a story or two worth telling. An outlet is sometimes all people need. Telling your truth will help others and help you as well. Why? Because all humans have value.

My goal with this blog is simple: to write, to learn new things, to be a better human, and to have some history for those who love me.

This is not the perfect blog; because I am not a perfect writer, and I do not have a “team” behind the scenes doing all the fancy things. Also, perfection is a waste of my time, but doing my best is not. If not now, then when?

My motto is kindness starts with me.
